The Antioxidant Food Table (Carlsen et al. 2010): a machine-readable release of 3,135 food antioxidant-capacity measurements

First machine-readable release of the Antioxidant Food Table: 3,135 foods, beverages, spices, herbs and supplements with total antioxidant content measured by a modified FRAP assay (mmol/100 g), organised in 24 categories. Extracted from Additional file 1 of Carlsen et al., Nutrition Journal 2010;9:3 (doi:10.1186/1475-2891-9-3, C-BY) using word-level PDF bounding boxes; the exact extraction script is included. Recomputed per-category statistics reproduce the source article's published descriptives exactly in 21 of 24 categories (99.9% of records); the three deviations trace to a documented inconsistency within the source itself and are described in DATASET.md. Approximately 39% of records share a normalised product name with another record (same food, different brand/lot); machine-learning users should valuate under grouped splits by product name to avoid train/test leakage. Users must cite Carlsen et al. (2010) alongside this record.
