Atmospheric dispersion simulations over the Paris Opera district using PMSS software

This dataset contains numerical simulations of atmospheric dispersion over the Paris Opera district performed using the PMSS model. Ground-level concentrations are integrated from the ground surface up to a height of 2 m to represent near-surface human exposure conditions. Time-integrated concentrations are then computed to assess potential human exposure and identify pollution hotspots. All spatial coordinates are provided in the RGF93 coordinate reference system (EPSG:2154). Dispersion maps are generated over a 1 km² domain discretized into a 551 × 441 grid. Simulations are performed for several idealized wind conditions characterized by their direction and speed. Although the incoming wind above the urban canopy is assumed to be steady and spatially uniform, PMSS computes a realistic flow field that is strongly influenced and channelled by the urban morphology. The coordinates of each grid cell used to compute concentrations are provided in Grid_Paris.npz. The dataset is divided into training and testing subsets using a 70/30 split. Each sample includes the wind parameters (wind direction and wind speed), the source location, and a flattened dispersion map. Dispersion maps are flattened using row-major (C-style) ordering.
