海南蓬莱地幔橄榄岩全岩主量元素组成限定出纯橄岩经历了~20-25%的部分熔融,方辉橄榄岩和二辉橄榄岩经历了15-20%的部分熔融,富单斜辉石二辉橄榄岩经历了5-15%的部分熔融。该数据分析在中国地质大学(北京)科学研究院元素地球化学实验室完成,是采用美国Leeman Labs公司生产的Prodigy型全谱直读电感耦合等离子体光学发射光谱仪(ICP-OES)测试的。烧失量(LOI)是通过将干燥的样品放入烘箱前进行准确称重,之后将其放入烘箱1000℃烘烤数小时,等其在干燥器中冷却30分钟至室温后再称重得出的。根据美国地质调查局(USGS)参考样品和中国国家标准GSR-1、GSR-2和GSR-3的分析结果,除MnO和P2O5分析精度优于±2%(2σ)外,其余主量元素的分析精度均优于±1%。
Whole-rock major element compositions of mantle peridotites from Penglai, Hainan, constrain that dunites experienced ~20–25% partial melting, harzburgites and lherzolites experienced 15–20% partial melting, and clinopyroxene-enriched lherzolites experienced 5–15% partial melting. All geochemical analyses were conducted at the Element Geochemistry Laboratory, School of Science, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), using a Prodigy full-spectrum direct-reading inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) manufactured by Leeman Labs Inc., USA. Loss on ignition (LOI) was determined by accurately weighing the dried samples prior to oven heating, baking them at 1000℃ for several hours, then allowing them to cool to room temperature in a desiccator for 30 minutes before re-weighing. Based on the analytical results of U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reference materials and Chinese national standard reference materials GSR-1, GSR-2 and GSR-3, the analytical precisions of all other major elements are better than ±1% (2σ), with MnO and P2O5 exhibiting precisions better than ±2% (2σ).
