资源简介:
The characteristics of dietary proteins in poultry feeds, including the size of the polypeptide chains, can affect gut microbial composition and function. Controlling Campylobacter in poultry ceca necessitates attention to the entire microbial community rather than individual bacteria, as the response to an inhibitor may vary depending on ecological factors such as peptide-rich environments. We employed the same protein source in three polypeptide compositions to evaluate microbial preference for peptide size. Campylobacter's adaptability to deaminase inhibitor suggests reliance on the microbial community and their metabolic products, showcasing its metabolic versatility.
