Effects of long-term agromanagement strategies on soil microbial activity and nutrient availability in different dryland wheat systems?

Theree long term experiments (wheat tillage study: since 2003; wheat pea study: since 1963; and residue management study: since 1931) and a perennial and unmanaged grassland systems were used to determine the effects of long term agricultural practices on soil microbial activity and nutrient availability. This includes a suite of diverse management practices including tillage intensities, cover crops, residue managements in dryland wheat systems of Pacific Northwest.
