资源简介:

Non-invasive blood pressure (BP) checks are important for finding high blood pressure and making medical decisions, but there can be differences between what doctors hear with a stethoscope and what automated machines measure. We present OSC-AUS-BPM, a collection of blood pressure measurements taken during regular cardiology outpatient visits using a method that allows for independent readings while the cuff is being inflated and deflated. An experienced cardiologist measured systolic and diastolic blood pressure (AUS) while the device was slowly releasing air from the cuff; after this measurement, the automated results were displayed, and simultaneously, the device recorded its own systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure (OSC) along with the heart rate. The dataset comprises 1054 measurement records from 223 unique subjects. Each record is accompanied by contextual metadata to support stratified analyses, including age, sex, height, weight, BMI, arm circumference, cuff type, rhythm classification, and a semi-automated processing pipeline removed test-phase entries, screened implausible or logically inconsistent values, corrected only unambiguous typographical errors, and flagged incomplete records. All data were anonymized prior to publication and contain no directly identifiable information. OSC-AUS-BPM helps compare different ways to measure blood pressure, look at differences in blood pressure readings among key patient groups, and do research on signal processing with the collected data.
