Virginia Scenic Rivers

The Virginia Scenic Rivers Program was enabled by the Virginia Scenic Rivers Act of 1970. Within Loudoun County are two Virginia-designated scenic rivers - Catoctin Creek from Waterford to the confluence of the Potomac, and Goose Creek from the confluence of the north and south prongs near Linden to the confluence of the Potomac.
