Pyrenean mires: Diatom communities

This project aimed to compare the diversity patterns of diatom communities in Pyrenean mires through morphological identifications and genetic metabarcoding (using 18S and COI markers). Diatom samples were collected along ecological gradients that are key drivers of mire biodiversity. Project LIFE Resque Alpyr (LIFE20 NAT/ES/000369).
