We studied the partitioning of heat flux during the pool boiling of water on thin metallic surfaces. The nucleation sites that are produced by a nanosecond-fiber-laser texturing (laser wavelength equals 1060 nm) form triangular lattice patterns with different lattice pitches. This dataset contains experimentally measured time-dependent temperature and heat flux distributions in Matlab format. The data were acquired by using an infrared camera at different heat fluxes at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia within Jan 10 – Sept 30, 2020. The acquired data can be used to calculate the fundamental boiling parameters for heat flux partitioning (i.e., nucleation site density, bubble wait and growth time, and bubble footprint radius).
