Expression data from microglial cell line BV-2

Microglial morphology is tightly associated with aspects of their functions during the postnatal stage. It is affected by not only intrinsic cues but also external factors. To pursue the novel factor that controls microglial morphology, we conducted microarray analysis using microglial cell line BV-2. We identified distinct candidates of both up-regulated and down-regulated genes from this experiment. Mice microglia cell lines, BV-2, were collected incubated with either DMEM or DMEM/F12 for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarray.
