Using ITS-2 DNA metabarcoding to identify and characterize strongyle nematodes in Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) and white rhinoceroses (Ceratotherium simum) at a private zoo in Bangkok, Thailand. Bioinformatics analysis identified Murshidia linstowi as the dominant species in both hosts. Kiluluma ceratotherii was uniquely identified in rhinoceroses.
