Dataset for: Europe's land take: revealing loss of nature and cropland to artificial surfaces

Data supporting the paper titled "Europe’s land take: revealing loss of nature and cropland to artificial surfaces". Link to paper: XXX The data are split into two zip folders: "data" - this contains all the data files to reproduce the R code stored here: https://github.com/NINAnor/eu-dw-landtake Follow instructions in the GitHub for how to use "land_take_vector" - this contains the mapped land take as vector polygons in geojson file format. Each polygon has a attribute named mean which is the average linear trend slope from regression of Dynamic World built probability scores. The average is calcuated across pixels within the polygon. The files are split by a grid over Europe. Each file name has a standard format with land_take_2018_2023_* where the suffix denotes the grid id it corresponds to. The grid ids can be searched in the land_take_vector_lookup.geojson file which defines the grid and associated ids.
