资源简介:
We identified a novel M. bovis nucleomodulin, MbovP202, which functions as a 5-methylcytosine-specific DNA methyltransferase that localizes to the nucleus of the bovine macrophage cell line (BoMac). To investigate its regulatory role, we performed RNA sequencing to compare the mRNA expression profiles between BoMac and BoMacMbovP202 cells. A total of 2,790 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified between the two groups. Integrated analysis of Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing (WGBS) and RNA-Seq data revealed that genes with promoter hypermethylation and concomitant down-regulated expression were predominantly enriched in metabolic and inflammatory pathways. RNA-seq profiling of BoMac (empty vector control) and BoMacMbovP202 cells (stable monoclonal cell lines expressing MbovP202)
