Soil moisture monitoring was done according to the manuals of the Watermark sensors (W), for tension moisture. For gravimetric moisture, Decagon sensors (D) were used.
Each soil moisture monitoring station (SMS) is related to the altitudinal gradient analysis and the soil data pit level. The pits, one per altitudinal level, samples were taken from different soil horizons.
