FRTGC - Female Reproductive Tract Gene Catalog

This deposition contains the complete non-redundant gene set of the Female Reproductive Tract Gene Catalog (FRTGC), representing the largest and most comprehensive multi-kingdom gene repertoire of the human female reproductive tract microbiome to date. The catalog was constructed by integrating 25,505 metagenomic samples from 22 countries, spanning four anatomical sites from the cervix to the lower vaginal segment. By performing large-scale metagenomic assembly and incorporating high-quality isolate genomes, we generated 12,451,932 non-redundant reference genes.
