资源简介:
Metagenomic sequencing was conducted on fecal samples from mice subjected to both a control diet and a cafeteria diet designed to induce weight gain, intestinal inflammation, abdominal fat accumulation, and multi-organ physiological alterations. Samples were collected at weeks 2 and 8 after initiating the treatments. Metagenomic DNA was extracted from 50 mg of feces using the Zymobiomics DNA kit (Zymo Research Corp., cat. D4300, Irvine, CA). DNA concentration and purity ratios were assessed using a nanodrop spectrophotometer (ThermoFisher, ND2000).For sequencing, pair-end sequencing was performed on an Illumina MiSeqTM platform using Sequencing by Synthesis (SBS) in 2X300 format. The V3-V4 region of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene was targeted using the primers F-CCTACGGNGGCWGCAG and R-GGACTACHVGGGTATCTAATCC (Genomics Services Laboratory, LANGEBIO, CINVESTAV, Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico).
