FLAME, which stands for Fire Luminosity Airborne-based Machine learning Evaluation, is an aerial imagery-based forest fire detection dataset designed to facilitate forest fire monitoring and early warning. This dataset comprises fire image data collected by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during prescribed debris burns in pine forests of Arizona. It includes video recordings and thermal maps captured by infrared cameras. The captured videos and images are frame-level annotated, which allows researchers to readily develop machine learning models.
