Differentially expressed genes involved in R. solani- and Xoo-infected OsEIL2-OE, oseil2, and WT plants.

To reveal the molecular network underlying the antagonistic defense responses modulated by OsEIL2, we performed RNA-seq analysis using the leaves of R. solani-infected OsEIL2-OE and WT plants at 24 h post inoculation (hpi) and leaves of Xoo-infected oseil2 and WT plants at 24 hpi. Rice leaves inoculated with Xoo at 0 and 24 hpi from WT and oseil2 plants as well as the leaf sheath inoculated with R. solani at 0 and 24 hpi from WT and OsEIL2-OE transgenic plants were collected for total RNA preparation. The inoculated leaves and leaf sheaths of 3 independent lines of oseil2 and OsEIL2-OE were collected and mixed in this experiment. cDNA library construction and RNA sequencing were performed by Shanghai Biotechnology Corporation.
