This dataset encompasses basic rural development indicators for 101 counties (county-level cities, districts, banners) across 12 prefecture-level cities and leagues in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The covered administrative divisions include Hohhot, Baotou, Wuhai, Chifeng, Tongliao, Ordos, Hulunbuir, Bayannur, Ulanqab, Hinggan League, Xilingol League, and Alxa League, with the data spanning the years 2001 to 2023. The included indicators are: number of townships, number of officially established towns, number of village committees, number of villages with access to tap water, and number of villages with telephone access.
