Rapid deforestation of a coastal landscape driven by sea level rise and extreme events — validation points

These data accompany the 2021 manuscript published in Ecological Applications titled "Rapid deforestation of a coastal landscape driven by sea level rise and extreme events". In this manuscript, researchers used the Landsat Image record to classify coastal vegetation and is changes from 1985-2019 in the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina.<br><br>These CSV files contain the coordinates and vegetation type of validation points for the classification. {1 = pine, 2 = deciduous, 3 = marsh, 4 = ghost forest, 5 = shrub, 6 = burn, 7 = dry pine}. Refer to the publication for a description of how the images were classified.
