Meteorological and Groundwater Level Dataset in the Kamennaya Steppe of the Eastern European Plain from 1904 to 2024

This dataset accompanies the paper submitted to Water Resources Research titled " Sensitivity of groundwater recharge to climate change in the eastern European Plain: 130 years of observations and future projections." 

The dataset contains 44,135 meteorological observations from the Kamennaya Steppe in the Eastern European Plain and 10,258 groundwater level measurements from the Dokuchaev Well, spanning the period from 1904 to 2024. Using this dataset, a geohydrological numerical model was developed and calibrated to calculate and predict groundwater recharge.
