Number of newspaper copies circulated in India FY 2023, by language

The most number of newspapers in circulation in India were in Hindi with over 199 million copies or almost 50 percent of the overall newspaper copies circulated in fiscal year 2023. English and Marathi newspapers were the second and third-most circulated, accounting for over nine percent of circulation respectively.
