Site Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at South of Berechurch Hall Road, Colchester, Essex, Sep 2021

This collection comprises images, site records, and CAD files from an Archaeological Evaluation. In September 2021, Colchester Archaeological Trust carried out an archaeological strip, map and record excavation, on land south of Berechurch Hall Road, Colchester, Essex, CO2 9GE, in advance of the construction of thirty-two new dwellings. 22 features were excavated as part of the current project and another two features from the evaluation phase were reinvestigated. Artefactual evidence was extremely sparse across the site and many of the features are consequently undated.
