16S rDNA Amplicon Sequencing of the Intestinal Contents in a Murine Model of Ulcerative Colitis

To evaluate changes in the gut microbiota of mice with ulcerative colitis following different drug treatments, 16S rDNA amplicon sequencing was performed on the small intestinal contents of mice from the non-modeled control group, the DSS model group, the FTY720 treatment group, and the AMD3100 treatment group. The modeling method for the DSS model group, FTY720 treatment group, and AMD3100 treatment group involved providing drinking water containing 2.5% DSS for 7 days, followed by switching to normal drinking water for 3 days.
