HI-TEC was a shipboard line-transect visual and acoustic surveys for cetaceans in the main Hawaiian Islands (June 28 – July 27, 2016). Ten satellite tags were deployed during HI-TEC, including 6 on melon-headed whales, 2 on short-finned pilot whales, and 2 on killer whales. This data set includes a total of 6 .csv files; 2 for each species tagged during HI-TEC. One file contains the details of the satellite tag deployments and the second file contains the satellite telemetry locations with associated information.
