Explanation of Data Files

THE NEURAL CORRELATES OF EMOTION PROCESSING AND REAPPRAISAL AS REFLECTED IN EEG

The folder titled “stimuli_picture” contains three subsets of images corresponding to the conditions used in the ER task: NEU (Neutral), NGR (Negative Reappraisal), and NGW (Negative Watch).

The associated Excel file (“stimuli_picture”) provides detailed information on the selected pictures, including their names and normative ratings. These ratings include mean valence, standard deviation of valence, mean arousal, and standard deviation of arousal for each condition (NEU, NGR, NGW).

The associated Excel file (“intensity_response”), located in the folder “stimuli_picture”, contains data on each subject's ratings of the intensity of the emotional content for each condition (NEU, NGR, NGW). The file includes the following information: ID, group, response

When using the data in the Brain Vision Analyzer, edit the workspace by integrating the “Raw Files” from the “raw_data” folder and the “History Files” from the “import_marker” folder.
