We showed that CD8+ T cell-dependent antitumor response was induced by an EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) against syngeneic Egfr-mutant NSCLC tumors and that the effect was further pronounced by the sequential dual blockade of PD-1 and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). The subcutaneous tumors harboring Egfr exon 19 deletions were passaged using C57BL/6J mice, then the mice were randomly assigned to groups that were treated with the vehicle, gefitinib, DC101, and/or 4H2. The tumor volume (width2 × length/2) was determined periodically.
