资源简介:
This FAIRsharing record describes: R1.2 requires that (meta)data be associated with detailed provenance. The purpose of this principle is to ensure that provenance-related metadata such as the origins, contributors, funding context and related research outputs of a digital object are clearly described, enabling informed reuse and proper attribution.
For the purposes of this metric, a qualified reference is defined as a reference in which the metadata explicitly describes the type of relationship between the metadata and the referenced entity. Evaluation under this metric assesses the presence of at least one qualified reference to linked publications: Where a metadata record includes at least one linked publication that explicitly supports the metadata record (rather than just providing context), this constitutes a qualified provenance reference.
Where this information is present, at least one declaration is sufficient to pass this metric. The overall level of FAIRness under R1.2 increases as additional provenance dimensions are satisfied; using multiple metrics for R1.2 can help create a detailed picture of reusability.
