资源简介:
This thesis explored participation experiences of young adults with cerebral palsy (CP) transitioning into adult life. It included: a qualitative study of their experiences, analysis of publicly available NDIS data, a systematic review synthesising evidence of, and identifying gaps in health literacy knowledge in this population, and a co-designed health-focussed educational resource developed with young adults with CP, clinicians and parents/carers. Collectively, this research demonstrated that young people with CP want greater autonomy, better access to customised health information, and more inclusive services. This research aims to inform future service development and promote greater equity for young people with CP.
