Data supporting the publication AI Adoption in B2B Markets Exploring Drivers and Barriers through Behavioural Reasoning Theory and a Care Approach

The dataset used in this study was collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 275 participants involved in B2B markets within the steel industry. The questionnaire consisted of two main sections. The first section included demographic information of the respondents, including age, gender, educational level, work experience, and job level/organizational position. The second section contained the main research constructs and questionnaire items related to the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in B2B markets. All questionnaire items were measured using a five-point Likert scale ranging from 1 (“Strongly Disagree”) to 5 (“Strongly Agree”). The dataset was collected for academic research purposes and used to examine the drivers and barriers influencing AI adoption through the lens of Behavioural Reasoning Theory and the ethics of care approach. Responses were anonymized prior to analysis to ensure participant confidentiality and privacy. The dataset includes cleaned and coded quantitative responses suitable for statistical analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) and related analytical techniques.
