Data and code repository for "Electroluminescence in dopant-free GaAs/AlGaAs single heterojunctions: 2D free excitons, H-band, and the tidal effect", Sherlekar et. al. 2026

This repository contains data and code to plot the figures in the main text and supplemental of the paper "Electroluminescence in dopant-free GaAs/AlGaAs single heterojunctions: 2D free excitons, H-band, and the tidal effect", Sherlekar et. al. 2026 published as a letter in Physical Review B. Python is used for most plots, except the plots in Figure S5 in the supplemental. Fig. S5 is plotted in Excel (G265-2DPN5-C2 Hall bar.xlsx), with the model data obtained using C code (Base Model.c). The Python code filenames contain the names of the figures they plot in their titles. Python version 3.13 must be used for these plots. The required Python packages and their respective version numbers are listed in package_requirements.txt. Labels for some figures were added after the fact using Inkscape, a FOSS graphics editor. The main repository folder that all the code is in (SH_Paper_Plotting_Code_Repo) should be set as the current working directory for the code to run successfully.
