The effect of retrogressive thaw slumps on the delivery of organic matter and nutrients to downstream freshwater systems in the Peel Plateau region, Northwest Territories

This dataset represents a compilation of stream organic matter, nutrient, and isotope data for streams draining watersheds that are, and are not, affected by permafrost thaw slumps on the Peel Plateau, Northwest Territories, Canada. This dataset also includes organic matter chemistry, stable isotope, and radiocarbon isotope data for samples obtained from slump headwalls on the Peel Plateau, Northwest Territories, Canada. The purpose of this data set was to document the effect that thaw slumping on the Peel Plateau has on the quantity, source, and composition of stream water column particulate organic matter and associated organic carbon.
