THE ANTITUMOR EFFICACY OF SESAMIN IN MCF-7 BREAST CANCER CELLS: THE MODULATORY ROLE OF MG132

Breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of malignancy-related mortality globally. Sesamin, a major lignan found in sesame oil, has garnered significant attention for its potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and pro-apoptotic properties. This study evaluates the impact of Sesamin on the MCF-7 (estrogen receptor-positive) human breast cancer cell line and investigates how the proteasome inhibitor MG132 influences these effects.
