Protection of semi-evergreen vine thicket, Kingsthorpe and Gowrie Junction

The project is focussed on the protection of semi-evergreen thicket and rehabilitation of Mt. Kingsthorpe Reserve, Kingsthorpe and Birdwood Conservation Park, Gowrie Junction. Key objectives in these two environmentally significant parks include control of severe infestations of declared weeds, which comprise of concern regional ecosystems, the development and maintenance of recreation tracks including the installation of erosion control measures, and revegetation planting to improve pedestrian access and appreciation and protection of the values of these sites.
