Hand Dominance based on Gender

On September 14, 2015, 22 individuals both male and female were surveyed at York University. Among the 22 individuals surveyed, 11 males and 11 females were asked whether their dominate hand was left or right. This experiment was put in place to determine if there was a variation between hand dominance among the genders. The choice of ambidextrous hand dominance was excluded, due to the reasoning that the ambidextrous individuals have a preferred dominant hand, and are not equally skilled with both hands.
