The accuracy of systolic and diastolic BP estimates is based on whether values were within 5, 10 or 15 mmHg for 99 individual measurements (part 1) and on a per-participant basis (part 2). The Dopplex device failed both part 1 and part 2 of the ESH-IP, suggesting this device is unsuitable for hypertension screening. The 2/3 and 0/3 represent the minimum number of comparisons within a 5 mmHg difference for systolic and diastolic BP, respectively.
