Whole genome sequencing data of Malva cachemiriana for chloroplast assembly

We extracted genomic DNA from Malva cachemiriana and performed whole-genome sequencing using the Illumina platform for the assembly of the chloroplast genome of this species. POWO accepts that its original genus name was Lavatera, which has now been taxonomically revised to Malva.
