This intersex, averaged template brain is an average of 16 co-registered, nc82-stained brains. The initial seed brain was female; 13 additional female and 2 male brains were registered to this seed and then all 16 were averaged. The reference includes the dorsal posterior quarter of the left brain hemisphere, a volume of approximately 168 × 168 × 87 microns cubed.
