The Fusarium heterosporum species complex is a multispecies lineage of the fungal genus Fusarium. This complex has been defined by DNA sequence-based phylogenetic analysis. The species after which the complex is named has been isolated from soil and plant tissues from diverse geographical and climatic regions. Members of this complex are generally not associated with severe crop disease epidemics or mycotoxin contamination problems in food and feed crops.
