Metastatic_intestinal_cancer_model___Jackstadt

We have developed a model of metastatic intestinal cancer, which we want to characterise in detail. To analyse this, we have isolated primary tumour derived epithelial cells and isolated DNA from these cells. We have generated only one cell line per tumour. But these cells have been investigated in a couple of functional assays (e.g. transplantation), showing clear malignant behaviour. As normal control tissue, DNA was extracted from matched tails. With this sequencing project we want to know which alterations these primary tumours show. If possible, whether they are micro satellite instable, but most importantly which alterations were acquired during cancer progression.
