CoWin_tweets_2021

The project comprises three files, with 'cowin_raw_2021.csv' containing 635,587 rows and 6 columns detailing tweets about the CoWin platform, the official vaccine scheduler launched by the Indian government in 2021. This file includes date and time of tweets, language, like counts, quote counts, tweet IDs, and retweet counts, with raw tweet content removed for privacy concerns. The second file, 'CoWin_processed_2021.csv', consists of processed text with additional columns indicating the month, hashtags, and whether a given tweet is a public announcement or not. The third file contains the processed text along with sentiment and sentiment scores, which were derived from a pretrained sentiment model. These datasets provide valuable insights into public sentiment and engagement with India's COVID-19 vaccination program, specifically focusing on the CoWin platform, and can be used for various analyses including temporal trends, language distribution, sentiment analysis, and the impact of public announcements on social media engagement.
