Gopherus morafkai Raw sequence reads

These reads are part of a study investigating the speciation process of Gopherus morafkai with sister species G. agassizii. The study investigated the relative contributions of differential ecological adaptation and isolation via Colorado River geologic history to this speciation event over the past ~5 million years. Gopherus agassizii is threatened under the Endangered Species Act, and G. morafkai is a species of special concern in Arizona. Understanding the genomic differentiation of these species will aid management conservation efforts to protect the integrity and health of both species.
