p53 binds to the regulatory regions of dsRNA-containing genes in 2153L tumor cells

We analyzed the genome-wide p53 binding profile in 2153L tumor cells. We found p53 binds to the regulatory regions of dsRNAs-containing genes. our result suggests that p53 may directly repress the expression of these genes. 2153L tumor cells were transduced with empty vector or p53ERTAM. Cells were treated by 4-OH Tamoxifen (100 nM) for 48 hours before harvest for ChIP.
