Early onset and average onset colorectal cancer with matched normal colon tissues

To dissect the contributions of the epithelia, immune, and non-immune stromal populations in 3 early onset vs. 3 average onset colorectal cancers and their matched normal tissues using the GEOMx spatial transcriptomics platform. Overall design: Three early onset and three average onset colorectal cancers with their matched normal tissues were selected. Epithelia (panCK), immune (CD45), and non-immune stroma (vimentin) targeted antibodies were used to define these populations in the chosen tissues. Regions of interest were chosen containing at least 30 nuclei, delimited by the markers and the accompanying fluorochrome. Regions of interest were then subjected to bulk RNA-sequencing.
