资源简介:
This dataset supports a research project that investigates vegetation dynamics in the Peace-Athabasca Delta (PAD), a complex boreal wetland system in northern Alberta, Canada. The study integrates Landsat-derived vegetation indices (NDVI and EVI) with airborne LiDAR-derived canopy height models (CHM) to assess vertical and horizontal vegetation changes across multiple wetland and upland landcover classes from 2000 to 2018. The dataset is intended to support long-term monitoring of ecosystem change and can be reused in studies of remote sensing, wetland ecology, and climate or disturbance-related vegetation shifts. (2025), Evaluating the Performance of NDVI and EVI for Monitoring Wetland Vegetation Changes Using LiDAR-Derived Canopy Height Models, Applied Sciences, 15(9), 4653. https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3417/15/9/4653
