Household Dynamics within Livestock-owning Smallholder Households: India, Ethiopia, Tanzania

The data were collected among smallholder farmers in India, Ethiopia, and Tanzania from September 2016 to January 2017. This was done through 240 rapid group surveys totaling 2823 respondents, and an additional 303 household surveys sampled from the group respondents. The main objective of the study was to explore the trends/patterns in the dynamics of livestock ownership and care in smallholder households. The topics covered include ownership, care, husbandry, general management, and which member of the household was responsible for these activities.
