This series comprised reference copies of by-laws made by the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission (VA 723, 1906 to 1984) and the Rural Water Corporation (VA 2338, 1984 to 1994).By-laws were made pursuant to the Water Act 1905 and subsequent Water Acts. Most by-laws were to strike rates and charges. A few referred to other matters such as water restrictions.
