FWS MB Maui Nui Established Wedge-tailed Shearwater Colonies

This layer primarily depicts the locations and population sizes of established Wedge-tailed Shearwater colonies across Maui Nui. Data was provided by Maui Nui Seabird Recovery Project and spans between 2012 to 2021. The layer also depicts other information relevant to the management and conservation of the shearwater colonies, such as the jurisdiction under which each colony lies, history of the colony, conservation measures currently being taken at the colony, invasive species present at the colony, and relevant environmental characteristics surrounding the colony.
