AbstractThe genesis of this work came from the reflection on the spatial dynamics of capital and the capital. The expansion and incorporation of territories by capital reveal, in part, the strategies of the capitalist mode of production, which are evident in the search for conditions of accumulation, expanding the alternative use of the land that occurs in a selective and uneven. We found in this study the mechanisms that capital uses to impose its practices through the agrarian structure and the appreciation of the land market, meaning, in our view, that the reproduction of inequalities happens often through land speculation intensified with the rapid valuation of land. Thus, the spatial area will Sibaúma the community, belonging to the municipality of Tibau do Sul, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Through empirical observations in Sibaúma, we see expansion strategies, incorporation and appropriation of territory by capital. As a result of this practice is occurring valuing land and the disruption of community.
