Upregulation of photosynthetic genes and purine nucleoside triphosphate biosynthesis-related genes enhances energy metabolism and antioxidant capacity, thereby stimulating M. aeruginosa growth. Downregulation of key transferase activity genes and precursor metabolism genes disrupts peptide chain assembly, Adda extension, and methylation modification, and interferes with the supply of precursors, ultimately suppressing intracellular MC-LR production.
